To empower both students and teachers as change agents in their local communities.
The competencies that today's students need to succeed in their careers can be hardly developed within traditional curricula.

Mapping the environmental needs, interests and opportunities of the local communities, experimenting new forms of learning, opening a dialogue with different socio-economic actors of their local community.

Identification of the business ideas, development of critical thinking skills and boosting a sense of initiative, improvement of teamwork skills needed for turning environmental issues into green business opportunities.

Developing innovative and sustainable solutions in line with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, mapped to an innovative framework.

The OUTSIDE Resource Center (IO2) contains the authentic material created by the project partners during the experimentation of the OUTSIDE methodology, as well as material (policy papers, projects, best practices, research, studies, etc.) focused on innovation in education applied to environmental protection and sustainability through open schooling useful for teacher training.

Local schools, communities and small businesses come together to help young adults
develop entrepreneurship mindsets and acquiring sustainable behaviour and skills necessary to promote innovation and the green economy.
